Orion32+ AD/DA converter F.A.Q.
This might be happening for various reasons, one reason might be interrupting the update. Do not move the update panel to the background or start another application while the device updates.
If you are trying to update your device through ThunderboltTM, please disconnect the ThunderboltTM cable and connect a USB cable, then start the control panel again and try to update again.
If you are on a USB connection and the update failed, try to update your Orion32+ again without interrupting the update.
Download and install the Antelope Audio Driver from our website. Then restart your device by unplugging and plugging back the power cable and then restarting your computer.
Start the control panel and perform a firmware update of the latest version again. After the update is done, perform a factory reset by:
1. Press and hold the power button
2. Navigate thru the menu with the frequency select buttons
3. Select and confirm “Factory Reset” by pressing and holding the bottom frequency select button
4. You should see “Factory Presets Restored” on the Orion’s screen
No this is not possible, you can still have both connections with the Orion32+ but you will have to choose which one to us from your Orion32+ front panel menu - “Comm. Interface”.
Orion32+ features a ThunderboltTM connection, a dedicated stereo monitor output on TRS connectors, has 2 Word Clock Outputs instead of 4 and features the new software control panel with Auraverb, AFX and 4 separate software mixers.
No, right now the ThunderboltTM connection is only available for MAC computers.
