A new quality standard in professional
master clocks

The Antelope's Isochrone OCX emerges as the new quality standard in professional master clocks. A master clock is the heart of the digital studio, essential to maintaining stability and preserving sonic integrity.

Jitter Management Module

Low jitter operation is critical in the modern studio. Antelope's Jitter Management Module implemented in Isochrone OCX makes jitter essentially nonexistent. Adaptive Loop Filtering is taken to the next level with a sophisticated DSP Based Multistage IIR filter, ensuring a jitter free, great sounding studio.

Oven-controlled environment

Oscillator accuracy is compromised when exposed to temperature fluctuations. The Isochrone OCX addresses this completely with oven control. The oven's temperature controlled environment allows unparalleled oscillator stability.

Atomic clock input

The Isochrone OCX can be locked to the most accurate clock on Earth - the Atomic clock. A studio can truly achieve perfect stability with the power of Atomic Clock. The OCX, OCX-V and Trinity are the only Master Clocks capable of locking to this unprecedented technology.

...once I heard it I knew I had to buy one!

I've used other clocks in the past and it's good to know that everything is synced but never noticed any real difference in sound quality. When I was mastering the new Underworld album with Miles at Metropolis he recommended the Antelope clocks as Metropolis recently purchased 6x Antelope Audio Trinity clocks and the 10M Atomic Clock from Unity Audio, and that I should check them out.

I had a mix running at my studio, which was sounding good and when I hooked up the OCX and hit external on my SSL Alpha link interface I noticed an immediate difference. Imaging became wide and clear and the bottom end seemed tighter and more defined. In the top end a clearer more focused sound.

Then I groaned, because once I heard it I knew I had to buy one! I'm also looking forward to the difference a 10m would make!
